Tulsa Zoo Hosts a “Symphony Safari” Featuring Tulsa Symphony Orchestra


WHAT:   The sounds of the Tulsa Zoo are unmistakable; the roar of the lion, the hoot of the chimpanzee, the toot of a . . . flute?  You heard correctly; in fact, you’ll be hearing a symphony of sounds as the Tulsa Zoo hosts a very special performance by the Tulsa Symphony Orchestra, Saturday, May 7 beginning at 11:30 a.m.

              The Tulsa Symphony Orchestra will be bringing their melodious sounds to the Tulsa Zoo’s Chapman Event Lodge for two performances.  As a special treat after the performance, you’ll get the chance to meet the musicians and learn about the different instruments with a unique “petting zoo” experience.  Also get up close and personal with some of the zoo’s animal friends! With Mother’s Day around the corner, what a unique way to celebrate!

              So bring the whole family and enjoy the swingin’ sounds of the jungle and amazing performances by the Tulsa Symphony Orchestra.
