By Tourism Industry Partner
Vinita—An award banquet honoring outstanding members of the community, a silent auction, great Hor d’oeuvres and a Valentine Murder Mystery mark the Vinita Area Chamber of Commerce’s 107th Annual Banquet on February 4.
Held in the Home of Hope Community Room in Vinita, the annual event welcomes the region to join the Chamber of Commerce in honoring those individuals who have made a positive difference in the community. The Hall of Fame Award and Citizen of the Year Award will be presented.
“The banquet is always a popular event here in Vinita,” says B.J. Mooney, executive director of the Vinita Chamber of Commerce. “It’s a great networking opportunity that is also full of fun and entertainment.”
Sponsored by GRDA and First National Bank of Vinita, the evening begins when doors open at 6 p.m.; the awards ceremony starts at 6:30. Later guests will be entertained by the Valentine Mystery, performed by area business people.
Individual and table reservations should be made by January 27 by calling 918.256.7133 or by e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org
The Vinita Area Chamber of Commerce is a member of Green Country Marketing Assn., one of 11 multi-county organizations working with the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department, the Oklahoma Travel Industry Assn., and the other multi-country associations to promote state tourism, a $6.1 billion industry.
