***NOTICE*** Due to winterization at Sequoyah State Park, the Creek and Paradise Cove South campgrounds will be closed from November 1, 2019 through March 15, 2020. The Choctaw comfort station will be winterized from November 1, 2019 through March 15, 2020. The Cherokee Campground will be closed from November 15, 2019 through March 15, 2020, and the Chickasaw Campground will be open for day use only with no restrooms available. The group camp will be closed between December 1, 2019 and March 1, 2020. The Seminole Area will remain open with full hookups and a comfort station, and one comfort station and boat ramp will be available in Paradise Cove.

***NOTICE*** August 26, 2019: Due to high water at Sequoyah State Park, the Cherokee and Choctaw tent campgrounds are closed.

Sequoyah State Park is a haven for water lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. With over 19,000 surface acres of water and 225 miles of shoreline on Fort Gibson Lake, the park attracts boaters and beach-goers alike. Visitors enjoy hiking, picnicking, guided horseback trail rides, wildlife watching, nature center activities, golf and disc-golf, fishing and camping.

The newly-renovated Lodge at Sequoyah State Park is Oklahoma's largest set of state park lodges, with 104 rooms and 45 cottages. Amenities include a restaurant, meeting rooms, zero-entry swimming pool with a children's splash park and more. The lodge lobby includes WiFi, a media room, meeting spaces and a restaurant. Large groups can book the bunkhouse, which sleeps 44 people and comes with a main area and kitchen facility.

Campground facilities at Sequoyah State Park include 48 full hookup sites and 80 water and electric hookup RV sites spread between three areas. The Seminole Area offers 20 full hookup sites and 20 sites with water and electric hookups. The Choctaw Area offers 24 full hookup sites while the Cherokee Area has 60 sites. Reservations guarantee a site in a specific area and a site number. All reserved sites will be identified with a reserved sign.

A total of 150 tent sites are also available on a first come, first serve basis. Additional facilities include comfort stations, lighted boat ramps and group picnic shelters. Group camp facilities include 10 A-frame cabins that can accommodate 150 people, as well as a climate-controlled dining hall.

For more adventure, visit Sequoyah Riding Stables for trail rides or hayrides on wooded and open trails inside the park. Bring your group to Cowboy Camp at the stables. Visit Three Forks Nature Center to view live animals and educational displays. The on-site park naturalist is available for individual and group programs. The two-mile paved trail in the park is perfect for hiking, biking, walking and running.

The Sequoyah State Park Golf Course is an 18-hole, par 70, 5,860 yard golf course with Ultradwarf Bermuda grass greens, tees and fairways, well-placed sand bunkers and lake views. Facilities include a pro shop with cart, club rental, snacks, drinks and a gift shop. A disc golf course is also available on the golf course. Play the course as a regulation 18-hole, par-70 golf game or as a shorter par-3 (par-54) disc game. Golf carts may be rented for use on the disc course, or walking is allowed. There is a small fee to play the disc course and cart rental is extra.  

The full-service Paradise Cove Marina features boat rentals, boat sales, loading dock, gas dock, slip rental, paddle boats, personal watercraft, storage, bait and tackle supplies.
