Honey Creek Area at Grand Lake State Park
Located on the shore of Grand Lake is Grove's own Honey Creek Area at Grand Lake State Park. The 38-acre park is open year-round, and contains 49 RV sites, 100 tent sites, an outdoor swimming pool, picnic facilities, a dump station, two shelters and four comfort stations with showers.
While enjoying your stay in Grove, gather the entire family, bring a picnic lunch and enjoy some fresh air while dining al fresco at one of the park's many picnic tables scattered throughout the grounds. Overnight tent and RV campers are also welcome to dive in to the park's outdoor pool for no additional fee, so bring your swimsuit and get ready to make some waves.
Grand Lake is fully stocked with bass, catfish, bluegill, spoonbill and crappie, so fisherman are never far to be found. Honey Creek Area at Grand Lake State Park offers a fishing dock and fish cleaning station, as well as a lighted boat ramp and dock. Grand Lake boasts 1,300 miles of shoreline, with more than 60 miles winding through the Ozark Mountains.
Near Honey Creek Area at Grand Lake State Park in Grove, campers can visit the Har-Ber Shopping Center, and other antique and flea markets downtown . For even more entertainment, take a cruise on the Cherokee Queen Paddleboat or take a long stroll through six acres of botanicals at the Lendonwood Gardens or visit Har-Ber Village.
Be sure to visit Honey Creek Area at Grand Lake State Park during September when Grand Lake hosts the annual Pelican Festival, which features a parade, live music, carnival rides, a pelican tour, arts and crafts booths, and even a murder mystery dinner.
***NOTICE*** Due to winterization at the Honey Creek Area at Grand Lake State Park, the Raccoon Ridge (Area A) comfort station will be closed from November 1, 2018 through April 1, 2019. The boat ramp comfort station will be closed from October 1, 2018 through April 1, 2019. The poolside comfort station is closed from Labor Day through Memorial Day. The Squirrel Hollow (Area B) comfort station will remain open.
Oklahoma State Parks are open year round, although certain areas are temporarily closed for the winter season to prevent damage to structures during inclement weather.
Pricing30-amp RV sites: $22 per night
50-amp RV sites: $27 per night
Tent sites: $14 per night
Senior discount (62 or older): $2 off per night
100% totally disabled: $7 off per night (proof of disability required)
Senior Discounts for Campsites:
The senior discount is currently $2 off the daily published rate for designated standard RV and tent campsites. Utility fees are not discounted.
Total disability discount is currently 50% of the base rate for designated standard RV and tent campsites. Utility and premium campsite fees are not discounted.
Senior discounts are also offered on other recreational features.
