Cedar Lake National Recreation Area
Hodgen, OK 74939
This 86-acre lake, surrounded by pine and oak covered hills, is the perfect place to enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. Campers and day visitors can choose from a wide variety of activities including picnicking, swimming, fishing, canoeing, hiking the three mile trail around the lake, walking a short nature trail or just relaxing.
Fishing is a popular activity due to the largemouth bass, catfish and bluegill stocked regularly in the lake. No motors larger than 7 1/2 horsepower are allowed.
The area features campsites with electric, water and sewer hookups that can accomodate RVs. Primitive campsites located near the shoreline and three group camps are also available. Most campsites have a picnic table, tent pad, fire ring, lantern pole and paved parking spur. Restrooms feature flush toilets and warm showers.
