Lake Watonga offers a variety of recreation opportunities for the entire family. This lake features 55 surface acres of water surrounded by three miles of shoreline, and Roman Nose State Park sits on its western shores. Fishing is a favorite activity at Lake Watonga, with largemouth bass, channel catfish, sunfish, crappie and rainbow trout in abundance. Roman Nose State Park offers a boat ramp on the lake, as well as canoe and paddleboat rentals. Explore the park's biking and hiking trails, then settle in at one of the campgrounds, complete with a dump station, comfort station and playground.
