Make your way to Historic Fort Reno for an exciting look into the past during Fort Reno Tombstone Tales. The event kicks off with a dinner at 5pm, where you can meet other visitors to the fort and discuss plans for the evening. Join re-enactors on a walk-through tour of the Fort Reno Cemetery during Fort Reno Tombstone Tales to hear vivid stories and re-tellings of various past residents and history camps. Lanterns will cast an eerie glow on the cemetery as skilled re-enactors portray individuals from the past who were interred at the fort between 1874 and 1947. See re-enactors dressed in period clothing bring cavalrymen, scouts, settlers, American Indians and even German prisoners of war from the WWII era back to life at this eerie performance. Visitors will be divided into groups and led through the Fort Reno Cemetery by a tour guide. Fort Reno Tombstone Tales is both fun and educational and is open to the public.
