Plaza Walls Murals

Plaza Walls Murals
Plaza District
NW 16th St & N Indiana Ave
Oklahoma City

In 2015, the Oklahoma City Arts Commission and property owner Steve Mason granted local and regional artists permission to create their own artwork on the Plaza District's alley walls. Local artists Dylan Bradway and Kris Kanaly brought this series of rotating artworks in the Plaza District to life, starting with the 17th annual Plaza District Festival. Since then, the Plaza Walls mural project artwork has changed several times, with plans to constantly rotate the murals and feature a diverse range of artists.

Head to the Plaza District before the monthly second Friday art walks to watch new artists begin the painting process for their unique pieces. At each of these LIVE on the Plaza events, come see the official unveiling of the completed works. Anytime you pay a visit to this artistic area in Oklahoma City, see if you can spot artists in action, replacing old murals with their fresh, inventive creations along back alleys and sides of local businesses.
