I should have heeded the comments I read. The water situation is ridiculous. Not many people so we parked our RV near a water hydrant. It didn't work. First bathhouse we went to was locked. The other bathhouse the toilets don't work and no water to the sink. Very disappointed. We'd planned this trip for months and no water even in the bathhouse???

Why is online reservation not available? A map of the camp grounds would also be very helpful for visitors to help them choose suitable sites. This is one of the better lakes in the area but falls short in online presence.

Some one told me that Dogs were allowed in Lake Arcadia? Is there a certain area for this? Thanks

From TravelOK.com Staff on 05/05/14

Dana, according to our information, there are two swim beaches on the north side of the lake and one on the west side. You can see their locations by clicking on the 'View Arcadia Lake Map' link, which is located on the right side of this page. If you have any questions, please call 405-216-7470. Hi where is the swim beach area at Arcadia?

From TravelOK.com Staff on 11/13/13

Donald, unfortunately there are no cabins around the lake. However, there are a number of places to stay within 5 miles. If you'll click on 'Lodging within 5 miles' under the map feature on this page, you'll see what is available. Have a great trip and thank you for using TravelOK.com!

My wife and I want to come spend the weekend at arcadia lake is there any cabins for rent on or around the lake

From Mary on 07/11/13

We do a lot of fishing in the lake area around Memorial Road. The trash floating in the water is disgusting. And when the wind shifts, so does the trash. Why can't OKC and Edmond city workers take it ALL out. Not hard to do, get in a boat and scoop it out with skimmers. My out-of-town relatives were shocked at the amount of trash in the lake AND around the entire state. We want people to visit Arcadia Lake but there is nothing but laziness in keeping it clean.

The staff at Arcadia have always been friendly and professional every time I have interacted with them. I love That this lake is actually maintained.

From Kristen on 06/21/13

Rude, unprofessional staff. This was my first trip there. We set up camp on a site and they came and told us it was reserved. First, I did not think they reserved sites. They made us vacate the site. Very rude, unprofessional staff. Very unorganized facility. We were there for an hour and left. I will NEVER return and will tell my friends to Avoid Lake Arcadia campgrounds at all cost! Oklahoma State Parks will get all my camping business.
