The Beacon Drive-In Theater is one of the oldest drive-in movie theaters in Oklahoma and has been operated by the Powell family for three generations. The theater was built in late 1949 and opened on April 22, 1950, as a venture of Video Theaters and A.R. Powell, Sr. and is still showing movies today.
