Newkirk Heritage Center
This historic building has been recently renovated and is on the National Register. Early day photographs of Newkirk and surrounding area are on display. Front area of building is set up as an early day home, with a large meeting room in back featuring a mural of early day Newkirk. Other services offered to groups include a meal function, walking tours of National Register district, storytellers and tea parties. The Charlie Adams Day BBQ is held in Sept and features a western band, gospel music, stage coach rides and gunfight reenactments.
