Byron, Birch Lake is monitored by by the US Army Corps of Engineers, so they'll be able to tell you more about the water clarity at this time. Please give them a call at 918-396-3170. Best wishes and thank you for using!

Just wondering what the water clarity is like at Birch Lake? We would like to swim in the lake while visiting but aren't particularly interested in swimming in chocolate milk. Any ideas or advice? How does it compare to, say, Arbuckle?
