From Debra Hobson on 02/24/15

My great uncle and aunt, Robert & Edna Miller were the original owners of Robert's grill. When we would come to Oklahoma to visit, when I was a girl, my mother and grandmother ,Edna's sister, would tell me about the grill. So after I got married and we would go up highway 81 to get to Walters,OK where my grandparents lived I always pointed Robert's out to my daughters. It is part of our family history.

Robert's serves the same burger now as it did when I was a boy and they sold at seven for $1. Dad fed the whole family on trips back from OKC to Weatherford. When I get back there these days, I can be reminded of what a hamburger is supposed to taste like, grilled onions and all. Perfect.

I ride my scooter from OKC to Robert's Grill in El Reno 3-4 times a month. The burger's are the best, services is great and friendly and it's the only one in the very old original building. Try it, you won't be dissapointed!
