There is also an area for outdoor performances and the building serves as an artistic and cultural center for Edmond and the University of Central Oklahoma. The readers of The Oklahoman have also voted the UCO Jazz Lab as the "Best Place for Live Jazz & Blues" in the metro multiple times.
