Vian City Lake

The Vian City Lake, located just north of Vian on Highway 82, features a fishing pier and a boat ramp, along with two covered picnic areas and handicapped-accessible restrooms. The Vian City Lake, located just north of Vian on Highway 82, features a fishing pier and a boat ramp, along with two covered picnic areas and handicapped-accessible restrooms. With the support of grants from the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department and donations from local citizens, the Vian Community Charitable Trust has developed approximately 3 miles of scenic trails that encompass the lake and the surrounding area.  The trails are 8’ wide and asphalt-paved for walking or biking use and feature a swinging bridge, as well as several handicapped-accessible picnic tables and park benches for stops along the way.  Future plans include an amphitheatre which can be utilized as an outdoor classroom, a butterfly garden and solar lighting with the addition of a paved parking lot at the southern trailhead.
