Description

Located across from city hall, the park features an actual blade, 122 feet long, from a wind turbine and a brief description of the wind energy industry. Actual wind turbines can be seen from I-40. The project will ultimately encompass as many as 98, 1.5 megawatt wind turbines, covering more than 5,000 acres in Custer County.

Today we drove from Oklahoma City to Weatherford so we could take our grandson, Justin, to the Heartland of America Museum in Weatherford. Arlen, Kevin, and Jana Lou made this one of the best experiences we've had anywhere. We definitely recommend the Heartland of America Museum, and for anyone interested in wind turbines this is a must visit. Thanks, Bob Moore Oklahoma City
