Waynoka might be the last place you'd expect to find an authentic German restaurant, but owner Dieter Dorner has made his quaint little eatery a slice of Bavaria in northwest Oklahoma. Start your meal in a warm pretzel and mustard appetizer before moving on to more hearty fare such as the grilled lamb chops, the jaeger schnitzel or the forelle, which features pan-fried rainbow trout with seasoned rice, stir-fried Brussels sprouts and a horseradish dip. The dining room is cozy and inviting, and there's even a beer garden where guests can enjoy an extensive list of bar offerings, including, of course, a number of German beers.
