Skiatook is a fast-growing community with a wealth of family-friendly activities. Bring the kids to Central Park to play on the playground, splash pad and pool. The park is also the trailhead to the Osage Prairie Trail, a 14.5 mile long trail that runs along the old Midland Valley Railway. This 10 foot paved trail crosses eight pedestrian bridges and stretches all the way to downtown Tulsa.

If water recreation is what you’re after, visit beautiful Skiatook Lake. Surrounded by gently rolling hills and mature hardwood trees, this 10,000-acre lake is known for its plentiful fishing, boating and swimming. Campsites, boat ramps, playgrounds and nature trails are also available.

Other Skiatook attractions include the Osage Casino Hotel, Skiatook Museum and Gander Way Vineyards and Winery. Take to the skies with Skydive Airtight or investigate the Healing Rock, which was considered a natural healing site by the Osage and Quapaw Indians in the 19th century.
