HOME1947 is an art installation at Oklahoma Contemporary that conveys the stories of those displaced during the creation of India and Pakistan in 1947. The exhibit features works by filmmaker Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy that tell the stories of those who lived through the Partition of India. The immersive exhibit includes a series of short films, photographs, sound installations and more on display through July.
