Rose Hill Burial Park is a historic cemetery located in central Oklahoma City and serves as the final resting place for distinguished Oklahomans ranging from Governors, US Representatives and Oklahoma City's forefathers to famed baseball and football players. Established in 1915 by Charles M. Moureau, Rose Hill now spans over 160 acres and features two historic mausoleums, with one closely representing King Tut's Tomb. Some notable gravesites are Governor Robert S. Kerr, Governor William Holloway, Governor Jack Walton, Governor Roy Turner, Hall of Famer Lloyd Waner, racecar driver Jimmy Reece, MLB outfielder Bobby Murcer, pro football player Platos Andros and Glen A. Larson – TV writer and creator of Battlestar Galactica, Knight Rider and Magnum, P.I.
