Head to the annual Seminole Nation Days for a weekend of family fun. This event kicks off Thursday at 6pm with the Seminole Nation Princess Competition at the Seminole State College Jeff Johnson Auditorium. On Friday evening, bring the whole family to the intertribal stomp dance at the Mekusukey Mission arena grounds. In the event of bad weather, the dance will be moved to the Mekusukey Mission Gymnasium. A free carnival will also run all weekend long.

Activities continue on Saturday beginning with a downtown Seminole 5K run and the Seminole Nation Days Parade at 10am and other sports activities scheduled for Seminole Nation Days include a 3-on-3 basketball tournament, horseshoe tournament, softball tournaments and cultural demonstrations. Stick around on Saturday evening for the Seminole Nation Days Powwow and a free concert and fireworks show. Food vendors will be on hand throughout the event.

On Sunday, a gospel singing and tribal band activites close out the festival.
