The annual Old Settlers Day & Parade in Checotah is an old-fashioned event that celebrates the area's rural heritage. Begin the day with a pancake breakfast at 7am at Methodist Church's Fellowship Hall. The day's festivities include a carnival with rides, live music, and antique cars and tractors on display.

Arts and crafts vendors, games for adults and children, and plenty of food highlight this family-oriented event. Don't miss an exciting parade at 9pm featuring floats, rodeo queens, marching bands and much more. Close out the night with a street dance featuring live music. Checotah's Old Settlers Day is a great way to spend a warm summer day.
