Trail of Terror & Haunted Barn
Oct 05, 2018 to Oct 27, 2018
El Reno's Trail of Terror & Haunted Barn challenges you to survive the frightening fun they have planned this Halloween season. Open each Friday and Saturday evening in October, come to the Haunted Barn for exciting, adrenaline-pumping haunted house entertainment and creepy scares. Horrifying creatures inhabit this barn built in 1946 and three surrounding buildings, from the grainery to the shed, waiting for visitors to come in. Prepare to be scared as frightening monsters come at you, chainsaws in hand. You might even see giant spiders and bats.
The Trail of Terror will also be open, offering creepy walking tours, scary displays and ghosts galore. The trail rambles through the heavily wooded area near the South Canadian River. Take a stroll through the Old West Town and run into a headless horseman. Explore the cemetery and dash through the Haunted Forest before the tree gnome reaches you. As you step inside Dracula’s tomb, try to keep your wits in the snake pit and quicksand. Many other creatures live along the Trail of Terror including aliens, witches and the Grim Reaper. Call ahead as this event is outdoors and may be canceled for rain.
Trail of Terror: From I-40, take Exit 115 (Calumet). Head north for 1/8 of a mile to Hwy 66 and turn left (south). Continue for four miles. Follow the signs.
