Stillwater Arts Festival
Now in its 42nd year, the annual Stillwater Arts Festival reflects the vibrancy of the arts and showcases the local arts community. The festival has grown from a small, local art show to a premier springtime event for the region, noted for the quality of its artists. Featuring approximately 100 juried artists, this festival also includes local and regional culinary offerings, artist demonstrations, children's activity area and more.
Engage in a variety of interactive arts activities with live music, performing arts and strolling street performers for non-stop entertainment. In addition, those seeking to imbibe local craft beer will surely enjoy the Iron Monk Beergarden.
View artistic media including oil and acrylic paint, watercolor, caricature, pencil, charcoal, pastel, photography, metal, glass, jewelry, pottery, wood, fibers and more. Attend the festival to add to your collection of artwork or to look for one-of-a-kind gifts. This free, family-friendly event will be held rain or shine.
This year's festival also features "Art Heist," a fun event where guests are invited to solve the mystery of artist Sarah Little's stolen painting. On Saturday, find clues scattered throughout downtown and use your detective skills to find the art thief. Submit your accusations by 4pm Saturday, and all correct answers will be entered to win one of 14 prizes. Check the festival website for more details and instructions on how to play this exciting game.
