The Old Fashioned Independence Day Celebration in Blackwell features several family-friendly events throughout the day including a parade. Watch the patriotic parade make its way downtown and enter to win the decorated bicycle and wagon contest. Bring your lawn chairs or blankets to the Old Fashioned Independence Day Celebration and enjoy free public swim at Memorial Pool. At dusk, the sky will light up as the celebration concludes with a fireworks display at the Blackwell Fairgrounds.
