Highlights of the tours include species such as the purple gallinule, Swainson's warbler and over 25 species of warblers during migration, red-cockaded woodpecker, king rail, white ibis, painted bunting and neotropic cormorant. Field trips during the Red Slough Birding Convention will focus on birds, dragonflies, wildflowers and champion trees.
