Experience the spirit of an ancient tradition at the Restoring Harmony Powwow at Tulsa's Westside YMCA. This event is an annual celebration to recognize National Children’s Mental Health Awareness Day.

The day begins with traditional stickball games and other activities, followed by gourd dancing before the sun sets and the grand entry parade begins. When you see participants in traditional regalia, you'll probably want to take something home to remember this sacred event. Plenty of vendors for shopping will be available, with booths boasting American Indian items like jewelry and blankets.

Whether you're browsing the exhibitor booths or participating in exciting recreational activities, the Restoring Harmony Powwow is sure to be a memorable day for the family.
