Packard's New American Kitchen is the midtown Oklahoma City destination for culinary wonders served in a diverse atmosphere. To kick off your experience at Packard's, sample artisanal cheeses or smoked meats or order an expertly prepared appetizer. Favorites include the warm olives, steamed mussels or kona bites, which feature Kahlua pork, Korean BBQ and ginger slaw on a bao bun. Salads and soups get special treatment at Packard's, as well. The menu is always changing, but foodies can expect options like a kale salad topped with roasted beets, blueberries and lotus root and drizzled with white balsamic vinaigrette.

Entrees available at Packard's range from simple sandwiches to one-of-a-kind cuts of meat expertly prepared and served with an assortment of sides. The hand cut tenderloin sandwich is nothing short of delicious, built on house sourdough with onion jam and a Cabernet reduction. The ribeye burger is popular, as well, bursting with flavor on a sesame bun with spicy tomato jam and a farm fresh egg.

Heartier entrees include the pork chop served with a green apple and tomatillo tamale and maple glazed carrots, a pepper crusted filet offered alongside caramelized shallots and herb whipped potatoes and pan seared chicken with fennel and edamame succotash. There are several vegetarian options available at Packard's, the most popular being the black bean beet burger and a seared udon made with tofu, mushrooms and coconut lemongrass. Seafood options range from fresh grouper on a sandwich to an inside out yellowfin roll.

To wash it all down, select from an assortment of imported beers and wines or try a specialty cocktail like the pack mule, a sweet combination of vodka, ginger beer, lime and rose. Patrons can choose to enjoy their food from the comfortable dining room or from the rooftop patio overlooking the downtown skyline.
