International Superhero Festival
111 S Chickasaw St
Get in touch with your inner superhero at the International Superhero Festival in Pauls Valley. Held at the Toy & Action Figure Museum and throughout downtown, this one-of-a-kind festival welcomes all ages to create their own superhero or dress as their favorite superhero to take part in the day's activities.
This event will feature live entertainment, a super cosplay contest, movie car replicas, on-site vendors and free admission to the Toy & Action Figure Museum in honor of their ninth anniversary. While you're there, help defeat the evil Dr. Spongebrain who has managed to escape jail and has plans to shrink the whole city. Superheros will have to gather clues in order to stop the dastardly scientific genius before it's too late, but watch out because Dr. Spongebrain always has a few tricks up his sleeve.
Wear your own costume or add to your outfit with capes, masks, gloves and outer space ray guns, which you can find at the on-site vendor booths. Get a free group photo or meet with an Oklahoma cartoonist to get your superhero likeness transformed into your own cartoon. Festival goers will also have the chance to see replicas of the 1966 Batmobile, the DeLorean time machine from "Back to the Future" and Bumblebee from "Transformers."
