Grove Community Playmakers presents: Exit Laughing
121 W 3rd St
Come see the Grove Community Playmakers put on a production of "Exit Laughing," by Paul Elliott. This play portrays three southern ladies from Birmingham who have spent one night each week for the past 30 years playing bridge together. There was a fourth woman, and though she is physically no longer on this earth, she still manages to push her middle-aged friends to understand the importance of living life to the fullest. When one of the remaining women borrows her ashes from the funeral home for one last card game, the fun begins with a police raid, a male stripper and a whole new way of looking at life.
