Local artist Susan Morrison created a six-panel mural that celebrates important events in the history of Bricktown out of 158,000 tiles that now rest on the walls of Johnny Bench plaza outside the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. Each panel represents a crucial piece of Bricktown history, like the panel depicting the first African American school in the area, which once stood on the same grounds as today’s ballpark.
