Head to the heart of Oklahoma City for an evening filled with heartfelt songwriting as Samantha Crain and Nick Jaina take the stage at The Blue Door.

Shawnee native Samantha Crain taught herself to play guitar and began writing songs based on her short stories during her senior year of high school. Since then, the hard working singer/songwriter has released four records and an EP, filled with well-crafted, confessional tunes. As a struggling musician, Crain has criss-crossed the country, building a following and touring with the likes of the Avett Brothers, First Aid Kit, Murder by Death, Deer Tick and American Aquarium.

The multitalented Nick Jaina wears many hats. In addition to writing percussive, original Americana music, the Portland, Oregon native also serves as co-founder and musical director of the Satellite Ballet and Collective in New York City and has just released his first work of non-fiction, “Get it While You Can.”
