With a voice tinged with anguish and heartbreak, paired with songs forged in the narrative fires of Whitman, Prine, Steinbeck and Dylan, Joe Pug has been working nonstop since dropping out of college and self-releasing his first record, 2008’s Nation of Heat EP. The songwriter has continued to polish his songwriting chops, releasing another EP and three full length records along the way and playing with a veritable who’s who of Americana songwriters including Steve Earle, Strand of Oaks and Rhett Miller. In addition to fan favorites like, "Hymn #101," "The Sharpest Crown" and "The Great Despiser," expect to hear several tracks off Pug's brand new record, Windfall.
