Head to Enid for a night of country as upcoming sensation Chase Rice takes the stage at Central National Bank Center. Although many fans might know him from the song “Cruise” co-written with and made popular by the band Florida Georgia Line, Chase Rice has risen into a songwriter of his own accord. As a young boy, Rice cut his teeth on the 1990s country pop crafted by the likes of Garth Brooks and began writing songs in earnest after an injury sidelined his University of North Carolina football career. Since 2011, Rice has kept the good times rolling with the release of two records and an EP filled with pop tinged country gems such as “Pbj’s & Pbr’s,” “Country Boy’s Kryptonite,” “Carolina Can,” “Whisper,” “Ride” and “Ready Set Roll.”
