Grove Community Playmakers presents: Silent Sky
Head to the Grove Community Playmakers theater to see a live performance of Silent Sky. Step back into the 20th century, during World War I and the suffragette movement, and watch transfixed as Harvard Observatory astronomer Henrietta Leavitt makes a breakthrough discovery in her field. As she examines and catalogs photographic plates of stars, she enables others like Edwin Hubble to make their own realizations about galaxies, stars and planets. This unique play will bring together intellect and entertainment with a flood of witty lines, intensely human characters and an ever-moving story line.
