Celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Historic Choate Cabin in Indianola. Visitors to this historical event can learn more about George Washington Choate, a Choctaw who constructed the one-and-a-half story log cabin for his family in 1867. Come see this home of the last Choctaw Senate President before statehood, and learn about the Choate Family legacy. Storyteller Tim Tingle will also present a new story featuring the Choate Cabin.
