MLK Holiday Parade in OKC
Honor an iconic American hero with a celebration of love and equality at the MLK Holiday Parade and Celebration in OKC. Organized by the OKC Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Coalition, the parade will include a full day of events capped off with a parade featuring floats, vehicles and peaceful marchers, all rallying around this year’s theme, “CommUNITY.”
Representing the spirit of the modern Civil Rights movement, the day’s events begin at 9am with a silent march from the Freedom Center at NE 26th and MLK along 23rd Street to the Oklahoma History Center for the Bell Ringing Ceremony at 11am.
