Birds of Chicago in Concert
Join the Birds of Chicago at The Blue Door for a very special evening of roots/folk music. In the few years since their formation, this pair of songwriters has honed a road worn sound that's a mix of folk, soul and rock with a heavy dose of gospel thrown in for good measure. Lyrically, the Birds music draws from stark, elemental imagery, reminiscent of an unearthed folk song or melody inspired by sacred texts. The gorgeous, church-like Blue Door acoustics should dovetail nicely with this band's unique sound, promising a show that's not to be missed.
