Medicine Park Aquarium & Natural Sciences Center
The Medicine Park Aquarium & Natural Sciences Center is an 8-acre site showcasing exotic freshwater and marine displays. There are eight galleries housing a variety of fish, beginning with the Aquarium Orientation and Introduction Gallery. Here you’ll find maps of the rivers and reservoirs of Oklahoma, North America and the world. Continuing on, you’ll pass through the Sunfishes Gallery, True Basses Gallery, Catfishes Gallery and the Trout, Pikes & Perches Gallery.
Next up is the Bio-Diversity Gallery of Minnows and Other Fishes of Oklahoma, followed by the Jurassic Fishes Gallery where you’ll see paddlefish, longnose gar, shovelnose sturgeon and more. The experience concludes in the Marvels & Mysteries Gallery, which is home to creatures like electric eels and African butterfly fish.
