Wilco in Concert
105 W Brady St
Join Jeff Tweedy and Company for a wonderful evening of timeless Americana music when Wilco takes the stage at the historic Brady Theater. Nearly three decades ago, Tweedy partnered with fellow songwriter Jay Farrar to form the seminal alt-country act, Uncle Tupelo. Just a few short years after kick-starting their country laden, punk-fueled "No Depression" movement, the band imploded with Farrar forming Son Volt and Tweedy building Wilco out of the ashes. From early offerings like the classic country charged AM or Being There to more experimental releases such as Yankee Hotel Foxtrot and Star Wars, Wilco has spent the last twenty years crafting a genre-defying sonic space that's distinct and instantly recognizable. Don't miss the chance to catch these pioneers of modern Americana music.
Be sure to catch opening act Philip Creamer (former frontman for Dovetail) holding down opening duties.
