Experience Joseph Martin's Appalachian Winter through the collective voices of the Trinity Presbyterian Church Chancel Choir in Bixby. Guests are invited to listen to this unique cantata, which combines traditional sounds with rustic elements, giving new life to popular American carols like "Away In a Manger" and "O Little Town of Bethlehem" and traditional spirituals like "Go, Tell It on the Mountain" and "Children, Go Where I Send Thee." Hear an hour's worth of sacred harp tunes, Shaker hymns and Appalachian melodies in celebration of this joyous season. At the close of the performance, the congregation will join in with the choir as all sing along to holiday favorite, "Silent Night."
