Wanda Jackson in Concert
425 NW 23rd St
Join the Queen of Rockabilly for a very special evening when she takes over OKC's historic Tower Theatre. Since the release of her very first single in 1954, "You Can't Have My Love," to the present day, Wanda Jackson has been thrilling audiences with her amazing vocal range and signature growl. After the success of her first single, Jackson signed with Capitol in 1956 and began touring with (and was briefly engaged to) Elvis Presley. Over the next decade, Jackson released a string of country and rock hits like "Fujiyama Mama," "Let's Have a Party" "Rock Your Baby," "In the Middle of a Heartache" and "Mean, Mean Man," that would come to define the rockabilly genre. Don't miss this chance to catch an Oklahoma legend, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and musical pioneer in Country, Rock and Gospel music.
