Head to OKC’s Paseo District as Oklahoma Shakespeare brings Kate Hamill's adaptation of Sense and Sensibility to life on their home stage.

This playful adaptation of Jane Austen's beloved novel follows the fortunes (and misfortunes) of the Dashwood sisters after their father's sudden death leaves them financially destitute and socially vulnerable. Featuring a fresh female voice and set in gossipy late 18th-century England, Sense and Sensibility examines our reactions to societal pressures and poignantly begs the question - when reputation is everything, how do you follow your heart?

Primarily known for their summer series, Oklahoma Shakespeare also actively produces plays and stage readings year round all over the Oklahoma City metro.

Shows are on the following dates -

August 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, 18, 19, 23, 24 & 25
