Shakey Graves in Concert
425 NW 23rd
Join Austin's own Alejandro Rose-Garcia, aka Shakey Graves, when he takes over OKC's historic Tower Theatre for a very special evening of modern Americana music.
After seeing a performance by one-man-band blues punk Bob Log III in 2009, Shakey Graves began crafting his stage personae, building a suitcase drum and belting out tunes he dubbed "hobo folk." With his stripped-down performances and unique vocals, Shakey Graves built a tremendous following, even garnering the honor of having February 9th declared "Shakey Graves Day," by his hometown mayor in 2012.
Several world tours, television appearances and a handful of records later, Shakey Graves has become one of the darlings of the burgeoning Americana musical movement, but all that's shifting with his brand new record, "Can't Wake Up." This ambitious work chronicles the artist's metamorphosis, teeming with jarring musical and thematic collisions, challenging and expanding the traditional horizons of his previous work.
Don't miss this chance to catch the next chapter in Shakey Graves' musical career.
