A prominent voice in new R&B music, Monica carries on an iconic tradition in American music. At just 13, she scored two back-to-back Billboard number one chart-topping hit records with “Don’t Take it Personal” and “Before You Walk Out of My Life.”

In 2010, Billboard Magazine listed Monica at number 24 on its list of the "Top 50 R&B and Hip Hop Artists" of the past 25 years. Now, Monica takes her new music on tour, mixing classic soul music, '90s R&B and cutting-edge collaborations in the industry.
