Swing by the Vintage Sewing Center and Museum on Peoria in Tulsa and take a sewing journey through the centuries. This unique, hands-on museum encourages patrons to explore, touch everything - even sew. With over 600 antique and vintage sewing machines plus notions and quilting supplies onsite, the museum, or "M" as locals call it, is a sewing aficionado's dream. The museum's curator, WK Binger, will escort you back to the days of treadles, hoop skirts, Rocketeers and saddle shoes through the collection of sewing memorabilia and artifacts.

Pull up a chair and recall memories of your grandma at her sewing machine or make your own memory at one of the sew-ready machine stations. Learn to sew with the lessons offered in this unique environment that promotes and encourages creativity for all ages. Rentals and sewing parties for children are also available upon request at this sewing hub. From simplistic yet clever designs to large industrial machines, you'll see how sewing has affected the world at this fun Tulsa museum.
