The Lazy Buffalo

Each cabin is individually themed to capture the essence of the Wichita Mountains and the rich history of the owners' hometown of Cache. The area is rich with history and offers endless things to discover.
Built in the summer of 2019, these western-style cabins include walk-in showers, climate control and luxurious linens to keep you comfortable. Barn wood, knotty pine and corrugated tin and tin ceilings add a rustic yet elegant touch to each cabin. A mini-fridge, microwave and coffee station are convenient amenities for guests. Four of the cabins sleep four guests with two queen-size beds, while the handicap-accessible cabin sleeps two and features a king-size bed.
Cozy up for the night and enjoy complimentary Netflix and Wi-Fi or unplug and watch an awesome sunset from the wooden rockers on the covered front porch. Gather the family around the picnic tables to enjoy a special meal or play games together as you take in the beauty of the nearby Wichita Mountains.
Located just three miles from the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge entrance, The Lazy Buffalo captures that rural feel. A bike lane joins the property and runs throughout the Wildlife Refuge.
