Davis Hall Theatre presents: The Girl from Andros
See the story of a man torn between love and family duty come to life on stage. Student actors will portray “The Girl from Andros” by Roman-African playwright Publius Terentius Afer at the Davis Hall Little Theatre at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma. The trouble starts when main character Pamphilus wishes to marry a woman who his father considers to be below their social class. Watch how the plot twists as the story turns from love to mistaken identity and the ridiculous situations that arise from deception. Performers will wear classic “commedia dell’arte” masks and 1960’s fashion to set the scene of being on a Mediterranean isle.
