Illiterate Light will take the stage at The Vanguard, mixing indie rock, folk and psychedelia to create an enthralling sound. After getting their roots as small-town organic farmers, Jeff Gorman and Jake Cochran found a new identity among raw electric guitars, dynamic drums and unique harmonies. Watch this energetic pair deliver a captivating performance as Gorman plays guitar by hand and synth bass by foot, while Cochran plays a stand-up drum kit. Special guest Dogwood Tales play Americana and alt-country tracks from their recent albums “Closest Thing to Heaven” and “Too Hard to Tell.”
