BBQ Showdown
From barbecue brisket to pork and ribs, guests at the annual United Way BBQ Showdown in Ardmore are in for a tasting treat at this event in Regional Park. Friday’s event will feature live music by Jay-B & The Zydeco Posse and Strongwood, as well as Cajun food from over 30 teams straight from the Gulf. A cornhole tournament will kick off at 7pm, and the kids’ fun zone promises tons of thrills with a bounce house, snowcones and face painting. Saturday brings out barbecue from over 30 teams, another fun-filled time at the kids’ zone and an awards presentation at 2:30pm.
